Default My hard water problem solved

I have terribly hard water here in AZ and was tired of spending two hours wiping off water spots after washing my truck, so I bought a power washer with a tank. It holds five gallons and I have to purchase distilled water, but no more spots or even need to dry. It probably won't take off caked-on mud, but it is powerful enough for a nice wash and it came with a foam cannon. Being able to wash in my drive is also a time saver and I have lots of other uses for this as well. It can also be connected to a hose for a water source if I want to wash my siding or other equipment. Oh, and yes, even the car wash here leaves spots when using final rinse mode because they never change their filter media.

Wow I wish that pressure washer wasn’t battery powered or I’d get it. I make RO/DI water for my sal****er tank and I’d be able to use that.

lol it censored salt water because it has **** in it.

Yes, I really wanted one that wasn't battery powered as I wouldn't mind running a cord to my drive.

I could use that! How well does it pump and how long does the battery last? Price?

At .79gpm it seems kinda weak. Most cheaper corded ones are over 1gpm. The price is for convenience of being cord/hose free of course.

Water here is hard enough to float a nail. Opted for an in-line filter that connects to the garden hose.

That's what I thought it would do. I like to wash my cars but water here is so dirty that I have to go to a car wash.

So, are those five gallons you put in the green bucket enough for a wash?
