Muffler?
Mine was nearly twice as loud without the resonator plus it was harsher sound and had a slight drone at 65 in the cab. With the 3" straight-thru 14" long x 7" round Magnaflow resonator, it's 1/2 as loud, harsh-free, and no drone. Just what I wanted. Hard to believe a resonator that small would make that much difference but it does.
Per above, resonator feeds a 22" SIDO Magnaflow 3" in 2.5" out. Not a V8 rumble but sounds pretty good for a 6 without being obnoxious.

You just can't make a 6-cylinder, EcoBoost or not, sound like a V/8 can you? I love that V/8 sound. This reminds me of a local muffler shop where a guy brought his Chevy in and said, "I want it to sound like a Mustang." The muffler man told him that if he wanted it to sound like a Mustang he would have to go buy a Mustang. Hey, I'm not looking for an argument of the EcoBoost Vs the 5.0, we know about the twin-turbos to get 365 HP but the 5.0 is close with 360 HP and that lovely V/8 sound.
It's the 420 lb.ft. more than the 365HP that impresses me but, that said, I would never suggest a SIDO V6 or even a true dual V6 sounds as good as a V8.
But, mine does sound better than it did stock and time will tell if I realize any mpg or performance increase over stock.
