Default Mud flaps

I live down a gravel road and have once again had the dealer install Ford molded flaps front and rear. This time around, they have shaved them down to be utterly useless and have stones hitting the side of my new truck. Dealer is going to take them back off and has ordered Husky flaps in for me.

Oh....been looking at the Gatorback brand and am kind of hesitant in paying those prices...
What brand flaps do you have?

I installed the Ford OEM style.
With the wheel well lips, you may find they are the only style that will fit correctly.

Mine are Ford's molded flaps, but stones fly right on past them and hit the side of the vehicle because the flaps are curved.

Also WeatherTech front and rear. So far no issues at all with gravel roads.

Just got the husky mud guards installed front and rear. If you do get them, you won't regret it. Super sturdy, good coverage. I chose them for their uniform "solid" appearance as opposed to the thinner lower half on Weathertech's and the lip on the OEMs.

i may have had them only for a day but I go to a place with lots of gravel, every day, and the flaps have made a big difference, seeing as how the Fortitude HTs love to pick up gravel and sling it against the truck.

Only quibble is that the "paint protection film" takes time to prepare and the metal u-clip can be a pain.

I ordered the husky flaps but they ended up bringing in the weathertech by mistake. Took them out of the box and we held them up on a stock vehicle on the lot. Liked them and brought them home. Installing was a snap and cleaned up the Ford flaps to return to dealer. No more stones bouncing off the side of my new truck now, and the rear flaps are about 1-1/2 longer, which will keep the chrome tailpipe tip much cleaner.
I wouldn't recommend those useless ford flaps to anyone.
Here's the weathertech's. They cover the whole thread and don't

let stones fly past them to hit the side of the truck.

Are you guys 2wd or 4wd?

Just wondering what happens if you get buried in mud or sand? Are they flexible enough to bend then pop back into place? Or would they snap off and possibly damage your wheel wells?

Curious
