Thanks to everyone who has commented, the price of admission here to try these out seems reasonable. If anything it may bring more of the deep pocketed major players into the game and that would be a win for all of us.

So, these will still blind oncoming cars, correct?

One thing I have learned is the Morimoto fogs say they are 5500k, but since its LED, it is way off from my Morimoto XB 5500K HID bulbs. Even after 50 hours burn-in time on my HID bulbs, they still dont match. I chalk it up to LED VS HID in the same kelvin just dont match up.

But since both the Morimoto fog and 2strokes are LED, they may match pretty good.

They are designed with a cut-off integrated. There are output pics of them in reflector housings, the cutoff is very distinct. I doubt they will blind anyone as LED's are barely brighter than halogens and many times, the throw of the light is less than halogen.

The output shot they have on their page is in a halogen projector, not just a reflector housing.

Well then that puts them in the same field as others. I was not aware of that.

I was all like , Now im all like . LOL. Im not sure if im being sheepish but it does sound like a superior product as far as LED go. In reflector housing im pretty sure theres no way to change the way the beam dissipates. So long as they are not too strong like HID's they should still shine in the same spots as a halogen bulb. Worth a try? Maybe.
