Default Missing My DD

I recently bought a 2002 Mazda Protege 5-speed to get me back and forth to work in an effort to save some gas. Now don't get me wrong averaging almost 33 mpg in that thing has been great and it's loaded (at least as loaded as protege's could get with cd, sunroof, cruise, power locks / windows and mirrors). Even though its fun to drive I find myself really missing driving the truck to work. The weekends can't come fast enough so I can take it out for a good run!

Anyway that's my rant, happy Friday everyone!

How much gas could you have purchased for the truck for what you spent on the car and pay for insurance?

With the amount of driving I do the car will pay for itself in well under 8 months, insurance is dirt cheap. It was just an inexpensive beater, nothing special. Plus it keeps the miles down on my truck which will help me keep it for the 10+ years I'm planning.
