Default Mirrors

My dealer is telling me the 2011 F150 mirrors are adequate for towing a travel trailer. I have my doubts. What is your experience with them?

Do yourself a favor and get tow mirrors. I don't have them on mine and they are useless when pulling any kind of trailer and the newer ones aren't much wider than mine.

If you go with tow mirrors, make sure they have the defroster in them. For me, its worth upgrading them to tow mirrors just for the sake of the defroster.

My truck has defrost, signal, puddle lamps, and power, but my truck is only wired for power so i didnt even bother adding new pins for the other 3.

Stock mirrors are useless for towing a travel trailer. Either spend the cash & purchase the OEM extendable tow mirrors or go with **** model 11800 slide on tow mirrors
