Default Mirror Swap

Hello,

I have a black 2013 f150 that came with tow mirrors when I purchased it used. I've recently found somebody with a black 2010 f150 fx4 with stock mirrors and, because it's an Fx4, the mirrors are painted black (which I like). I want to trade mirrors with him but i'm unsure if his mirrors will work on my truck. When I see mirrors for sale online, I see them listed for both 2009-2010 and 2009-2014, so it makes me wonder if they'll work on my truck. I want to know obviously before I trade, because the tow mirrors are expensive and he and I both know that they'll work on his truck so he doesn't have anything to lose by trading. My main concern(s) are physical mirror fitment as well as the mirror adjustment motors and mirror lights being functional. As far as trying to "gain" any additional options that the stock mirrors may have, i don't really care.

I would appreciate any input, and thanks!

They will mount. Are you sure the tow mirrors on your 2013 aren't factory?

Yes i'm sure. They're Trailridge tow mirrors on it now. So you think the plugs will match up and pins will line up?
