Default Mirror Questions

Hello all! I am finally back into a truck! I am in the process of learning all the controls . I can't tell if it has heated mirrors or not. This truck pretty much has every other option, but I can't find a button for it. Is there a chance it is tied to the rear window defroster?

Also, would it be a direct swap to get towing mirrors put on? would like to keep the power fold that I have now. Thanks!

If your mirrors have a little box with some wavy lines in it, then you have heated mirrors. They are activated by the rear window defroster button,

I'll look again in the morning. Just seems crazy that they wouldn't be, with so many other options on the truck..

My trucks heated mirrors are on a switch by the heat controls, yours may be there also.

You should be able to find aftermarket mirrors that keep all your functionality. I'm been looking at 1Aauto mirrors, just haven't bit the bullet yet. Just be careful and read the description thoroughly. There are a lot of options on that site.

I haven't looked at other places/sites for mirrors, but I'm sure they are out there.

Well, even though there is no indication on the mirrors, when I turned on the rear window defroster, the mirrors defrosted as well!
