Default Mirror frame changeout

I have a 2010 F150 XLT with manual folding mirrors. I purchased Ford OEM power folding mirror pedestal frames and need to switch out my existing frames for the power folding frames. I know about wiring needed, but can’t find info on how to remove my existing mirrors and housings and mount them to the new power folding mirror pedestal frame. Any advise welcome.

The glass comes off first, it takes some doing with some small hook tools to get the fingers that hold it in place.

Then you can remove the screws that hold the mirror cap on.

Then you have to remove a lock clip but it is under tension with a spring, past that, I cannot help, I gave up and replaced the mirror assembly before I hurt myself.
