Default Mileage

Hello every one.

My name is Verdun Terry and I live in the beautiful Cayman Islands and I am the proud owner of a 2012 F-150 XLT; however due to a financial situation I have decided to sell my truck and buy something least expensive until my situation improves.

A friend of mine has a 2005 F-150 Lariat 5.4 Triton which he has owned from new with regular servicing that he is selling. I know that he takes very good care of his vehicles and it looks great but the mileage is 88,651.

Is this amount of miles considered high?
Thanks
Verdun

Ah yes, yet another.

88 K miles is barely broken in. Check for spark plug blow out potential and head gasket leaks. Also there may be cam phaser issues but I'm not familiar with that.

If it has the original spark plugs have him get them changed before you buy it.

To me that's low mileage. Average is 12k per year and that's well under the average.
