Max wheel size
Question for the pros in here. I have a 2016 F150 supercrew XLT 5.5 foot bed. It currently has 17 inch wheels 6x135 lug pattern. I want bigger wheels but I don't want to worry about lifting it, spacers, or adapters, etc. How big can I go without rubbing the wheel well etc? And as always, thanks for the advice. I always get great answers and info here. New truck owner, Wiggy!!
Assuming this is a 4x4 question (You didn't say):
On a factory 20x7.5 +44mm guys have run tires as large as 275/65R20 (34x11) without rubbing.
If you are wanting to run something like a 20x9 with 0mm offset I doubt it would clear.
Your first rub point will be the crash bars in the front of the front wheel well.

It depends on the back spacing of the wheel also, weather you go with a negative or a positive off set.

I'm sitting on 285/65/17 BFG KM2 on my XLT 2wd
It's a 2016, stock wheels
And I have the SLIGHTEST rub at full lock on the lower valence on the front bumper
If you want to run after market wheels with an offset you won't be able to go taller that factory tire size
