Default Make cruise control always on?

I tried searching the forum with no luck. Is there a way to make the cruise control come on with the truck? I know it's a minor annoyance, but I'm used to just hitting "set" in my previous vehicles and not having to turn it on then set the cruise. Thanks in advance!

Every vehicle past and present that i've owned or driven with CC needed to be turned 'on' 1st before the speed is 'set'.
Curious as what vehicle's of yours had no CC on/off switch or only needed to hit 'set' without enabling the CC with 'on'?

I'd think the way you want the CC to work would be some kind of a potential safety issue.

Last two vehicles were a Volkswagen Tiguan and a Hyundai Sonata. I think my SRT10 RAM I did have to manually turn on the CC. I know my Honda Accord I did as well.

My wife's Honda Accord allows this. You can leave the Cruise Control set to ON and just kick it in at leisure whenever you want with a tap of a button.

I really like it, but as you noted, it's only a minor annoyance to have to turn it on every time you start these trucks.

My wife had a 2002 Accord, but I don't recall the cruise control setup. Interestingly (maybe not) my Honda Goldwing has a Cruise Control on/off switch and I always leave it on. As a side note, the older accords have a very similar keyfob to my 2006 Goldwing. The only difference is the pictures on the buttons.

How could we guess, when you have NO information about the truck in your signature? Click this & read the caption:

Since every vehicle i've owned in the last 40 or so years was made by a USA company might explain why i never heard of this.
CC remembering ON could be a Euro/rice burner thing?

Questions for vehicles that have this CC feature:
-In addition to remembering CC-ON does it also remember the last set speed when the engine is turned off?
-Do these vehicles even have a CC ON/OFF switch?

Speaking strictly for my wife's Honda Accord (A 2014 built in Marysville Ohio), it does not remember the previous speed setting once you turn the ignition off. It does however have an ON/OFF switch that can be set to ON or OFF indefinitely. It's been set to ON for years.

That's how my previous vehicles have been. I would be fine with this. It's not like hitting the cruise on button is going to kill me. More of an added convenience feature! I didn't know if it were a setting I missed or if Forscan could fix this.

GM's CC is always on and ready to go. At least the CC thats on the steering wheels, not the stalks. Actually dont the stalks have an on/off lever? I think those might be on too.
