A maintenance reminder
The last couple days I've been more/less getting the 150 ready for winter, it ain't that far away!
I shot my rockers full of Fluid Film, and retaped the holes. I vaguely remember someone else on here had a thread about cleaning behind the front wheel well liners, so thought I'd give it a shot myself. I'm glad I did. There must have been two to three pounds of moist compost in there on each side. I cleaned it out the best I could, took a hose to it, and let it dry. Then shot it pretty good with FF.
In the photos, of the engine bay, notice right at the back where firewall and fender more or less meet, that wedge shaped hole? That's where all the leaves and crap come in, fall down in the void, and compost away.
Just a heads up for you guys that never thought of it.

I think I'd kill to find a place that stayed 65-75 year round. I was down your way a couple times in December, going from DFW to Brookville FL. It felt good considering before DFW, I was in Toronto. Seemed funny though having a Santa waving at me from under a palm tree. Just didn't seem right.
Ya, I have to admit, I was always treated very well in La., Ms., and Al. I even got talking to some Cajuns over there at Red Club, er, Baton Rouge. Those guys had me rolling with their stories, and making fun of me every time I said the "Eh" word.LOL

Red Stick residents are wired wrong. They are nothing like us west of the Mississippi.

This winter? I don't care at all. No more playing iceroad trucker everyday for 350 miles. If/when it snows, I'll actually have time to move it, instead of letting it pile up all week.
Only thing wrong with the snow now will be the bloody snowmachine aholes from downstate. Not all of them, just that 10% minority that think it's the wild west up here.
