Default Maf sensor

I'm going to be putting a cold air intake on a 97 F-150 with a 4.6 V8 I was reading that a stock MAF sensor may not let the cold air intake perform to its full potential I am wondering does anyone know what kind of MAF sensor to get so it will perform the way it should?

If you haven't already bought it, don't, the OEM is better, and will supply the truck with all the air it will ever need, and the factory intake is a CAI.

Aftermarket CAIs are HAIs. Ford knows more about making that truck run to its full potential than anyone else.
