Default MAF locations

I hear we (2017 3.5) have like 3 MAF sensors. Are these the plastic things that are plug into the air tube? Looked at trying to pop off the connections to them but I stop on fear of snapping off plastic and breaking something.

anyone know the locations and how to unhook these?

Thanks!

The Ecoboost vehicles are speed density and do not come factory equipped with mass air flow (MAF) sensors. These trucks utilize a MAP manifold absolute pressure sensor. There is one on top of the intake manifold under the engine cover and another similar type of sensor right near the throttle body. These trucks also have an IAT or intake air temperature sensor that's near the air filter housing on the intake tubing. If you are going to clean them I'd suggest using an electronic parts / sensor specific type of cleaner such as CRC brand QD electronic cleaner since it's made specifically for sensitive electronics and sensors. You can usually find this at a local auto parts store.

No problem, happy to help out! Yeah the naturally aspirated vehicles often times do have a MAF such as the 5.0L v8 F-150s and Mustangs. But the Ecoboost speed density vehicles all come from the factory with a wideband o2 sensor and MAP sensor type of monitoring systems.
