lowering question

I have a friend with a 2wd f150 and he said he wants to lower the rear, i told him he could either remove the blocks, or get drop (lowering shackles). So i wanted to get your opinions, please help, thanks.

There isnt any blocks to remove. If he wants to just level it, then the only thing out there is drop shackles.

Depending on what year.. and 2wd or 4wd .. Some do have blocks in the rear..
