Low range light
I have a 1996 Ford F150, straight 6.
This last week the low range light has been coming on the dashboard panel. And the truck has been dying at a red light occasionally. It restarts immediately but sort of chugs. It is not four-wheel-drive. Any suggestions?

Are you sure to is a 4lo light? All the vehicles I've owned when they didn't have a feature the bulb would not be installed. Does the light you are speaking of come on when you turn the key forward?
