I have 7 custom tunes and the only one that wasn't right off the bat powerful is the Omega. I put my 5* 87 performance/tow back in and instant power gain.

Same with MPT custom tunes I have.

Interesting. I have thought about trying an MPT tune, just haven't pulled the trigger.

That's one of the benefits of the tune, you can switch them around if you don't like it.

5 tunes from 5* different octanes, and 2 from MPT.

Can't see the 87 eco or 87p/t tunes as it's scrolled up. And another MPT tune on the way. So 9 tunes from 3 companies in all. The only two that are disappointments are the 5* 87 eco tune and this Omega tune, all other tunes rock and I'm sure the newest one from MPT will be just as impressive.

I like variety.

Maybe you should contact Ken @ Oz Tuning about it. Something may be wrong. He worked for MPT for years before branching out on his own.

Yeah he sent me an email wondering what the problem was and had some explanations what could be wrong and wants me to jump thru some hoops datalogging and such but my time is worth more than all the trouble going thru that nonsense, how is it MPT and 5* both can give me several different tunes that are awesome right away and never needed dataloging but this one can't?

Cause it sucks. I told him the only way to resolve the issue is to refund my $$ but I know that's not going to happen so I'm just going to suck it up as a lesson learned, stick with what I know works.

So Rnlcomp, what is your recommendation for the best everyday driving tune? As soon as SCT comes out with a tuner for my 2017, I will be all over it. Thanks.

I applied the tune the exact same way I have done it the last 38 times.

Anyway at least Ken is a stand up guy and is going to refund my purchase.

I've already deleted the tune from both programmer and pc.

It's worth repeating that not everybody hates the Omega tune. Browse the Web and you'll find tons of guys who have run MPT, 5*, Omega, SSI, etc. tunes and most of them give overwhelmingly positive reviews of the Omega.

Also, there are guys like me who switch octane from 87 pump gas to E85 on a fairly regular basis, and spending a few minutes loading tunes each time is a PITA. Therefore, the Omega tune is really nice for us.

Thirdly, the more aggressive you get, the more you risk engine damage or even fires like some guys have experienced. Some of the pics I've seen are scary.

Bottom line......what works for one guy might not work for the next, and vise versa. It's wise to read ALL the reviews before picking tunes.

For the record, I've had tunes from multiple companies, and I've got a dyno shop locally that's tuned some of my stuff on the rollers, so I'm not a newb and I do not get paid to endorse any product.
