I am looking at a 06 cc lariat. it has the 5.4 in it and just wondering how the motor is, is there any problems with it. It is almost out of the warranty, so just checking to be safe! And also how much do they tow. thanks!!

 

I have an 06 with the 5.4L and have zero motor issues. The one suggestion I would make is if the plugs have not been changed I would have the dealership do that as a condition of the sale. Tell them you will provide the replacement plugs and get yourself a one piece design. Some 04+ models have issues with the plugs breaking off inside the head leaving the customer with a very expensive repair bill.

 

hey read your spark plug issue.think i should that do with mine??mine is a o6xlt supercab 5.4 as i have told ya before when i messaged ya.i have found some brisk aftermarket plugs and i have been talking to ppl and all have told me are very reliable.i just dont want to have mine break off thats all.did you change yours.asking you cause again you would no more than me,lol.
