Default Little advice please.

I have an '01 f-150 XLT super-crew, and want true duals for it. What's the best brand of headers? Long tube or shorty? Should I get rid of cats or buy high flow cats?

If you want long tube you will have to get a custom cat setup. Long tubes are best performance wise. Short tubes are still good and you can use your old cats. If you have the green put on high flow cats. It will mae a huge difference.

so much for introductions.

I seen someone mention OBX long tubes, but haven't checked into them. I think I'm going with flowmaster. Either 40s or 50s. Was wandering if I even need cats. Just don't want to lose to much back pressure. Thanks.

Depends what state you are in whether you can loose the cats. Your muffler and pipes will provide all the back pressure you need. Cats produce to much. I have the super 44 and it sounds pretty good.

I have the super 44s on my '87 f150, and love them. I think I want this truck to be a little bit quieter.
