Question Lifting up my truck.....

Basically i want to raise my truck. I dont want to go crazy lifting it 5 feet off the ground and spending a million dollars, but i want a little lift. A few questions and hopefully i'll get some answers as well as some suggestions.

Can i buy bigger tires that will give my truck the "raised" look that im looking for without buying a lift kit?

If i buy a lift kit, do i then need to buy bigger tires?

What kind of costs am i looking at?

Thanks

first off what kind of truck do you have? second do you just want the look or do you want the versatility that a lift offers.

Default Just the look...

I use my truck for work, and as my everyday vehicle. I usually just load about 1,000 lbs in the bed on a daily basis. So i dont NEED the lift kit, i dont go offroading. I basically want it for looks.

I have a 2007 F-150 extended cab 5.4L 2wd

if your throwing all that weight in the back i'd say no on the lift kit. you can go with a little bigger tire and leveling kit and maybe a load leveling the kit in the rear and be done with it.

ya beat me too it. The leveling kit in the front is what i have and i fit 325/60/18s on it with minimal rubbing which i believe is a 33.4" tire? I could be wrong on that tho. I haul my race car, boat, or landscaping trailer at all times and have had no problems plus it looks pretty sick also

Does any1 recommend a specific brand for the leveling kit. And an exact specific tire for the truck?

put on a 2.5" leveling kit like everyone here says to do and 33's. my friend has a truck with that on it. and he pulls everything with it. a car trailer, boats, and his camper. so you should be just fine with it
