Lift Kit on 2018 STX
#41
I find it hard to believe that 35s on 22" wheels, with just a leveling kit, don't rub. I know on my personal truck, with the 6" kit, and 18"' x 10" (-24), they rubbed on the valance and crash bars, so I trimmed both. Not saying he's wrong or deceiving, because the offset is a variable too, but it just seems hard to imagine. Having done this for a few decades, I also know that different guys have vastly different interpretations of what actually "fits without rubbing". When I say "fits", I mean what fits without rubbing at lock-to-lock, and full suspension cycling. Just as if it was offroad in a crossed up situation. Not just creeping into, or out of a paved driveway at an idle.

So finally got my tires and rims...got 33x12.5 r 18x9 -12 offset....nitto grappler. Question did my truck lower due to the tires I got...it feels like it did. I had 275 55r20. Dont know enough about tire ratio but it feels like the truck is lower than when I had my stock tires on and after I got it leveled.

No, you went from 32" up to 33". Must be one of those illusion thingies.
