Default leveling kit options?

hey folks, new to the forum. just purchased a 09 supercrew lariat in 4wd. Im already looking at putting a leveling kit on it. Ive been researching the site and have found that most folks have gone with the pro comp or readylift kits. I'm looking at a 2.5" lift. Any opinions on which would be better based on experience or reviews? thanks for the help.

BTW i have 2 pics posted in my profile album of the truck. thanks in advance!

I am unsure if autosprings makes a leveling kit for the 09' but if they do I would highly recommend them. You can buy them off ebay. Mine for my 05' was 89 bucks and it was powdercoated.

what are the downsides of putting on a leveling kit? Ive heard that they may cause issues with certain parts of the factory warranty. Do they place stress on the springs? Do they decrease the smoothness of the ride? Decrease handling?

a 3" kit will leave your front end sitting higher than the rear. I recommend the 2.5" kit if you want your truck to sit level.

I bought a hellbent steel 3 inch leveling kit off ebay. The thing is built like a tank and powdercoated black. I am very happy with it. It was very competetively priced. I installed it myself in about 3 hours.

Came with a sticker for the toolbox too.

those rims are nice as mess. yeah i checked out hellbent last night and think that they are going to be who i go with. i think the 2.5" will probably be better suited for my lariat. the fx4 packages seem to come a little higher out of the factory than the lariats. thanks for all the good info guys. and thanks for the heads up about the ebay ones as well.
