So I’ve read a ton of threads on this topic only to have more questions than answers. I want to level my 2023 F-150 Lariat Fx4, sits on stock 20 inch wheels. I am set on running new front coil over and rear shock to get the level. I don’t mind a very small front rake after the level. I’d like to get close to level. Don’t want the front higher than the back. I understand it may happen if I put too much weight in the bed but I don’t tow a ton. Should I go with a 2 or 2.5 inch level. Does anyone have pictures of either height they’ve installed on a similar truck? What coil over set up and rear springs did you use? I’ve read the level height varies between 4x4 and 2 wd? Is that true? Thanks in advance for the help.
2WD has a much larger rake, I used the Eibach coil over, which is adjustable. If you order for your 4x4, they will come preset to level your truck. They make a dual reservoir rear shocks as well, you can get the entire package.
To determine what size level to install, measure the amount of rake you have now. Most, a 2" level will keep a nose down. On some trucks, you may still have a nose down even with a 2.5" level.
Yes, a 4X2 usually is around 1" lower than a 4X4. none of this is etched in stone, each truck is a bit different.
I'd show mine, but I'm close to a 3" level, and a 2" block. My truck sits within a 1/4" of level, nose down. It sometimes looks nose high depending on how it's parked.
^^ This. Gotta measure. I went with a 2 inch level puck on my 2018 2WD. That made it pretty much level but then I went and added the stock 4x4 block to raise the *** end just a little bit, 1.25 inches. Running 33s and it looks good to me.
