Default Level question

Have a 2011 lariat was planning on doing a 2in ready lift level in the front and replacing the factory block in the rear to a 3in
Would I need to replace the factory shocks in the rear also?

Or should I go with the rough country 2.5 leveling kit with the 1in rear block with their N2.0 shocks ??
Or the auto springs ?

You don't have to replace the shocks but I would recommend it simply because the stock ones are junk. I have Fox 2.0 rear shocks on mine with the Auto spring add-a-leaf. Icon 2.5 coilovers in the front.

I guess it's a matter of opinion, and nothing worth actually arguing about ... but I don't think the stock shocks are "junk" ... but the aftermarket options are better, that's for sure.

As for replacing them, no, you do NOT need to replace them. They have enough travel that just adding about 1.5" to the rear blocks (going from 1.5 to 3") isn't going to affect anything.

Looking to get the truck to sit higher with a little rake.

Was considering the auto spring 2.5 for the front and the AAL for rear
