Default Level kits..? Good or bad?

Got a 3" level kit installed on my 2013fx4.
Are 3" levels rough on the veichle( ball joints, cv, uca etc..)

I like them, add a good clean look to a truck and allow for a little bigger Tires when I rolling on a level I couldn't tell a difference but now I got a 6 inch so I don't remember the feel

lol...a half inch more excessive... I have had a 2.5 since new in 08...no problems, who knows what a 3" would of done...you will read on here that it can cause problems with CV shaft angles and tie rod ends...

FWIW, I'm not interested in doing a level. I've read too many things about negative impacts on mileage and (as stated above) stress on the suspension & drivetrain components. But if I were to do it, I'd do it via a Bilstein-like setup, and not the other way.
