Lets see those plasti-dip projects

Heck! Old people don't like black on black either. LOL! My retired neighbor is always jokingly giving my crap about my black wheels. It's an ongoing joke though, I have black 18's on my DD focus, My truck has black rims, my 86 Iroc has gunmetal corvette rims, I painted my rider mower wheels black (to get a laugh), and the golf cart I put a 300cc quad motor...yep, black on black. LOL!

Has anyone used PD or any sort of Lens Tent spray on their headlights or tail lights? I have 2009 FX4 and attempting to black out most of my truck. I have stock headlights and tail lights but I'd like to tint the lens rather than pay $400 for aftermarket headlight set. Wondering if anyone has tried this and how it turned out?

I know a guy that did his tails. The light still goes thru, but I don't like it much because it's a dull finish. However... It's easily removable if you decide you don't like it. I haven't seen it on headlights yet... But I would think that it would be impossible to see. It's okay for the tails, but the headlights direct light to a specific area (Think flood light versus spot light.). But remember... They do still make tail light, and head light covers. You don't have to plasti-dip to fit in with us Cool-Kids

LOL! What are you saying? And what is old?
I typically don't like black wheels on any color. They blend with the tire and look like a "black hole". But on that black truck they look good. I think it might be the white letter tires. They break up the "black hole" effect. White letter might help the white truck too. That's funny because I don't normally like white letter tires either. To each their own. That's what matters.
My truck has chrome that I don't care for but as of yet I haven't quite been able to get myself to cut loose with the PD. I'm afraid it will look tacky (AKA: Ghetto). I know it can be peeled off but I'm also afraid that will be a PITA. I'd like to see some in person but haven't had the opportunity as I live in a ........

And you are correct about seeing it in person, the pictures never do it justice.
Ya of course, I buy from DYC also. They do an awesome job of marketing with all their videos and samples.

Seems like people in their 30's are on the fence with black wheels. But just like Dirt said the old guys can't get over the chrome.

I'm in my 50s and I mostly hate chrome.
I'm considering gray wheels and maybe bumpers and grill on my silver truck.
