Lets see those plasti-dip projects

Not saying good or bad. Well looks good. But I did something similar when I lived in Texas. I painted the lens black. Left plenty of visible red and back up lights also. A cop pulled me over and gve me a ticket for not having my reflectors visible. Then again he also pulled me over two other times. I believe e was just always looking for me. Maybe he was jealous of my truck LMAO. no I wasn't speeding or being stupid (39 yr old) LOL in Texas. Everytime he would see me he would pull me over for something very stupid. ANYWAY just wish ya best of luck with having plasti dip on tail lights. On side note I redid my tails once moved back to ohio with nite shade. No probs and Goin on 2 yrs lol.

I've had mine sprayed on since October and not one issue at all and I have had plenty of cops drive behind, stop behind me, pass me, etc., both during the day and at night. I was even pulled over once last month, for speeding, and the officer said nothing about them. There is plenty of light output as long as you don't put a stupid amount of coats on it.

FX4 Blackout
Speaking of tail lights..... mine are darker than any I've seen locally, they match the paint flawlessly.... never once been stopped, questioned, or harassed. Then again my LEDs really make a difference on light output.....
Not trying to get off subject here but decided I would share my insight based on some older posts I just read.

Well here's a funny story. My buddy got a new Tahoe and now he's pretty low on cash but has the modifying fever. So he decided he could plasti dip his entire Tahoe.
He got about half way done before he realized it looked terrible and then we spent the next day power washing it off.
As much as I like the stuff I wouldn't want to spray my whole truck with it with just rattle cans.

Personally I can tell any thing or item on a vehicle that has been platidipped. My buddy has a nice grey Titan and his wheels are black. I looked at them and something just didnt look right to me. I never said anything.....but one day he mentioned he plastidipped them. I knew it. Guess Im not a fan of it. Seems and appears to be a cheap way to get something matte black. Not trying to hate, its just a personal opinion.

Reach in, curl your fingers behind the flaps, pull out. Will require some force, but they will come out. Be very careful taking the rings off later, the clips break fairly easily.
Better pic of mine done.
