We just bought a new escape..Would have got the Ruby Red but didn't want to pay the extra $500. Went with sterling grey, our second choice and I am just as happy. I would have got Sterling grey if I bought my truck new. The Ruby Red is most noticeable in direct sunlight, the pearl is in the clear coat. Kind of a way Ford cheated the 3 stage pearl paint....

Default My Ruby Red

Like many of you I was looking for another color initially.
Then I worked a deal on this one and have never looked back.
Its one of the best colors I have personally owned.
The uniqueness is what I love, not too many out there....yet.
We keep up this crap of posting our pics everyone and their brother will buy one.

The sunlight pic is before I removed the side appearance stripe. I liked it okay but prefer no stickers and wanted to see more red. ha.
I think the black wheels and blacked out emblems, badges, tail pup etc... is what I like the most. My last step to remove 100% of all chrome on the truck was the OEM lug nuts. None of the aftermarket black ones I found fit as good as Ford lugs. So I just covered them with colorlug covers.
Loving this ride for sure.
Danny

Here's my 2013 FX4. Finally had a chance to clay bar and wax this past weekend. Also had the DRLs turned on during my first oil change last week.

It was funny. The dealer I bought from didn't have one Ruby Red truck on his lot. When it arrived the guy that orders truck said he really liked the color. I told him I didn't want to see a hundred RR trucks on his lot in six weeks. Well you guessed it. He's has four right now.
