Default LED issues

I installed all new LED lighting throughout the exterior of my ‘19 XLT. The exception is the mirror lights but all others are new. When using my turn signal the exterior lights (both front and rear) flash at a normal pace but the dash indicator flashes as if I have a bad bulb and it’s sort of annoying...

Has anyone came across a similar issue? I went with Lasfit LED bulbs, they couldn’t give me any good reason for the issue.

Thanks.

You need a load resistor or relay switch to fix the fast turn signal issue. I'd recommend a relay switch replacement.

Basically the LED turn signals require much less voltage than than incandescent lights and it tricks the truck into thinking the bulb is dead.

If you do some searching you can make the changes in Forscan to stop the hyper flash.

Where’d you get your lights? Want to upgrade mine as well.

Replacing the flasher relay is not an option after 2008. The best option is Forscan. I wouldn’t recommend anyone chopping into the wires to add resistors if they don’t have to.

^^^^^Yep, he's right. LEarn how to use Forscan, it's actually pretty easy.
