Default LED Blinker in Side mirror.

My LED blinker in the passenger side mirror broke and is flopping around inside. The light still works and the replacement is $85 from the local ford dealer. I just assume hot glue it back in and be done with the whole deal. Whats the best way to get to the inside of the mirror? Do i have to take the door panel off?

Pop the mirror glass off from the underside using a flat head screwdriver (there are how-to videos on youtube on how to do this). After the glass is off, you can access the screws to take the housing apart and fix your LEDs. There's no need to take the door panel off.
I installed an extra LED strip for running lights and turn signals in both my mirrors a few weeks back and I was leary about popping the glass out, but it really is easy. Just be gentle.
