Default Leaf Spring Problem after hitting a curb

2010 ford f150, hit a curb and started having a noise coming from the rear. Couldn’t see what was wrong until I just noticed the leaf spring moved. How easy is this to fix?

The center leaf looks broken?

Replace both sides at the same time if you do.

Looks like that axle took a hella hit. Wouldn’t be surprised to find bad wheel bearings. Maybe more.

Somebody needs new leaf packs. Install both as @2008__XL mentioned.

Its not complex or overly difficult but there may be some issues you might run into. Search YouTube for how-to videos. Grab the replacements from the local Ford dealership parts department if you want to stick with OEM parts or order them from RockAuto if you want aftermarket springs like Dorman or Husky etc.....

Don’t see anything other than springs.

Just wanted to point out there are components that transferred energy from curb to springs to consider.

Slid sideways into a curb with a ‘67 Camero. Two weeks later wheel bearings went bad.

I hope springs are all you need. But keep an eye out for unseen trouble anyway.
