Default LCD Display screen

Hello every one I am new to this forum and just bought a 2011 F150 Supercrew XLT 4x4 with the EcoBoost engine and my LCD display screen in the middle of the instrument cluster has stoped working. The dealer says that the instrument cluster is bad and will have to be replaced. The dealer also says it is a quality control issue and they will not be able to order one for a least a month or two. Just wondering if i am the only one having this problem. Thanks

welcome to the site and take ur truck to the dealer and ask them for a different truck or for a temp vehicle or something (worked when my dad got his chebby in 03 something with the motor went wrong and they gave him a new truck) of course he bitched to get the 6.0 in the reg cab short bed 1500 and they had 15 of the same truck the next day. They basically stole his idea

This is cute Ford's Chinese, Korean, or Taiwanese suppler of the main boards for these LCD panels has had a bad run, so the dealer want you to wait several months for a new main board to show up. Demand a replacement truck.

Find another dealer. Then call corporate. I'd complain as high up the ladder I can get.
