Do you mean an "anti-knock" sensor??? I've never heard of a "knock-out" one.

You could probably use another year but that sensor i believe is the same throughout those years. You could junkyard it. I ran an '87 H.O. 302 in my 95 bronco for years and never used that sensor as the '87 block didnt have a spot for one and never had an issue. Engine light never came on either. I wouldn't worry about running one but that's my opinion. All its for is if the timing gets off or bad fuel and the engine starts detonating. A correctly running engine shouldn't have that issue. I would suggest changing your spark plugs as well.

I'm pretty sure a 95' 302 is not going to have a knock sensor. My Mustang sure doesn't.
