Default Keyless entry intermittant

Just bought a new 2011 screw that had the keyless entry. I have programed a custom code. The doors only seem to unlock after entering the code numerous times. I am hesitant to start tearing into my new door. My last car, an explorer, had the same keyless entry and I never had issues. Has anyone else run into a problem with their keyless entry? Does anyone have suggestions how to fix the problem?

Does the factory code act the same? Try making a different code and see if it does the same thing.---And --Yeah--its under warranty, take it back.--Like Joe says

I tried the factory code... No issues. I created a new custom code. Similar issues to before. Then I created another custom code avoiding the 3 button. Success. I could probably take it in and have it replaced. But just using a different code will work for the life of the truck. I appreciate the input. Thanks guys

Good to hear it works,You should probably have it checked out tho-when you take it in for something else-add that to the list. It could end up being a short in the panel which could cause major problems later on...just my .02 cents.
