Default Keyless entry

So. I have a 2007 F-150 Lariat super crew. A week or so ago my truck was broken into. Douche bags stole my owners manual that had my warranty paperwork registration and the card with the door code on it. Among other things. I know you can add a personal code to the truck but the old one still works. Is there any way to disable the factory code so these bastards don't try to get froggy and come back after my stereo? Thanks for reading. Have a great weekend.

Only way to change the factory # is to replace the module itself.

Did you file a insurance claim? If so, I will let the insurance company know your concern and maybe they will pay to have a module swapped out to save them from paying out in the future reference another possible break-in..

this might a daft suggestion, but is there a fuse that runs the keyless entry pad?

I haven't made an insurance claim as the amount of items stolen haven't exceeded my deductible. Not sure about the fuse. Might look into it. Just disable the whole thing until I take new orders in a couple years.

You could always find a truck your year model in a salvage yard and nab the module out of it, the box has the entry code taped to it. I think it's behind the seat back of the rear seat.

By the way my step son is up your way, he's in the Navy, he was in Japan on the Washington before.

I just may have to do that. I'll start calling around this week. Yeah. That code is on a barcode on the module. Pain in the butt to see while it's installed. Had the pleasure of searching for the code for my '13 Expedition. No card with the truck. Might just swap them. Lol.
Yes sir. There are a couple Navy bases here in WA state. Most, but not all deployments are usually around Japan around here. Our squadron is slated to go there eventually.

Programming your own personal entry code
1. Enter the factory-set code (keypad will illuminate when first digit is pressed).*
2. Press the 1/2 control within five seconds of step 1.
3. Enter your personal 5-digit code. Enter each digit within five seconds of the previous one.*
Your personal code does not replace the factory-set code. You can use either code to unlock your vehicle. Each time you set a new personal code the module will erase the previous one in favor of the new code. The factory-set code can not be erased.

Erasing your own personal code or a prior owners code and leaving only the factory-set code
1. Enter the factory-set code.*
2. Press the 1/2 control within five seconds of step one 1.
3. Press the 7/8 and 9/0 controls at the same time within five seconds of step two.*
The system will now only respond to the factory-set code.

Yeah. I know all that. Doesn't do me any good if someone already has my factory code. Thanks though.
