Key won't go in ignition.

Key won't go in ignition.
2017 f150 xlt 4x4 5.0, key goes into the pin i guess and stops. Key fob only works if disconnect battery then works for about 15 minutes then stops working again, battery is 6 months old and test good. Any thoughts?
