Katzkin questions
Always heard good things about the Katzkins covers, and am about to buy some.
How do these things hold up to dogs in the truck? Comfortable? Easy to clean? Upkeep? Worth the $$$?
Add any info you think is important.

No, it's just very hard to find 100 percent leather anymore. I'll have to do some googling.
Per the Katzkin site:
https://faq.katzkin.com/hc/en-us/art...s-100-leather-
Virtually all mid-market cars have leather-trimmed seats, which means that part of the seat is covered with leather and part is covered with high-quality synthetic material.
Katzkin leather content reflects the leather content provided by the car
manufacturer, which normally includes full leather seating surfaces in the
front seats and a combination of leather and synthetic materials in the rear
seating areas. We use only premium automotive leathers and synthetics, which
are designed to meet or exceed the quality of the leather interior option
offered by the manufacturer.

No dogs here.
my 2017 had them installed by the previous owner so no telling how long he had them (truck had 23k when I bought it).
if I remember, I only put another 20-30k on them. I’m the guy that “slides” in and out of the truck, also took the truck calling quite a bit, and at the time i was still an aircraft mechanic.
I LOVED the seats. Leather was nice, you didn’t slide around, seats were heated and it played nice, and I had no issues with them.
when I sold the truck, I looked at lariats cause I wanted leather again but the ford lariat leather felt like plastic.

I like cloth seats better, but my 2020 came with heated leather. I've grown to like them, but non-heated leather would be a deal breaker.

Good to hear the seat heat works well, that's something after having I would not give up. Really helps the arthuritis in the back. I've been known to use it on low even in the summer.

All the posts comparing OEM leather to Katzkin leather has the Katzkin reviewed better than OEM. Mine were installed with about 300 miles on the truck. I now have 80k, 7 years later...... We camp, fish, boat, have been to countless baseball and softball tournaments (think ground in dirt here) and they are still a 9.7 out of 10. My driver side seat bottom has small creases on the side facing the door, but most people probably wouldn't notice. I would do it again 100 out of 100 times. As for dogs, I can't answer that one.
