Hi All,

New to the forum - just purchased a nice 2002 F150 FX4 Off Road Supercab with just 50,000 miles on it. Very nice truck - finally have my toy at age 55!

Anyway, wondering if anyone out there has experience with the K&N Performance Intake kit. Can get a pretty good price on Amazon (under $200 new) and want to see if any members have installed this on their truck and how it has performed.

Do the GOTTS mod, only cost about $10 and for the same thing. Did it on my 06 and works great, throttle response and MPGs got better.

 

I did purchase the K&N kit. The GOTT's mod will do the same thing however I am happy with the sound and throttle response. Personally noticed almost 2mpg from the K&N. Not a lot but well worth the money in my book.
