Am I the only one having bad luck, or am I too particular?

Seems like from the time I picked up my truck with a dent and paint damage to the bedtred with permanent wrinkles, the Truxedo titanium bedcover #1 with imbedded grease fingerprints on the entire aluminum underside, the second one that won't close right and now the latest my Borla exhaust that arrived with a dent in the resonator.

Whether it's shipping, quality control or what have you, these items cost us our hard earned money an should be in the new condition we paid for.

Now I'm nervous about ordering a different bed cover (Lomax) because of a bad review I read in here about its crappy durability.

I may put the Truxedo back on because it seemed to fit halfway decent, with my luck I'll get a dented Lomax like another member on here.

I know I'm picky but this is becoming a bit ridiculous.

Sadly it just seems like some bad luck! Honestly, the Lomax is a great cover. They had a few hiccups during their first versions of the product, but as of late we have had numerous compliments on the ones we have sold and our employee's trucks!
The guys over at Access/Agri Cover have a great warranty department if you have an issue and have helped our customers get squared straight away if problems occur.
If you need some more questions answered feel free to give us a shout!

Gotta leave the bedtred exposed to the sun a few days and it'll smooth out, mine was the same way and that's what they told me to do and it worked. Then you can close up the tonneau.

Thanks for the info Midwest. How well will the aluminum on the Lomax and hinges hold up?

Mines been uncovered for at least week and still looks like that. The weird thing was it was perfect, no wrinkles. Once I zipped the side and bottom together the wrinkles appeared. So maybe it's sewed wrong? Where was yours wrinkled Rnlcomp?

What have the temps been like by you?

Look into Bakflip. I rarely see anyone with complaints about them.

The temps were the major cause with the hinges failing, however, they are using a new adhesive that is much stronger to help give the cover more life. The aluminum is pretty durable and holds quite a bit of weight. If you have some doubts check out this video we did haha!

I like the RollX and the Truxedo for their durability and flush appearance, and the Lomax for it's crazy low profile.

It's been raining a lot in the high 70s, to mid 80s.

I saw that, more flex than I was expecting.

Both of the Truxedo's I have don't close right, it's annoying.

There is some flex to the cover but it's still very durable and sturdy with a great seal from mother nature! If you're looking for a new cover feel free to PM us for forum pricing. We would be happy to help you out!

There was some concern over it's inability to prevent break ins. Can the cover be lifted open at the end near the tailgate and broken into with a coat hanger by pulling the release cord?
