New member here.
Just bought a 1983 base F150 2WD straight six in great condition (85,460 original miles).
I want to put Monroe load adjuster (coil over) shocks on the rear. I can only find listings for 4WD. I don’t believe there is a difference between 2 and 4WD rear axles and therefore shocks should be the same... but I’m not sure.
Can anyone shed any light?

The 4X4 sits higher in the rear so they are to long, the rear end is the same different suspension set up.

Thanks, I thought that could be the case.
