John force....a cheat?????
I saw it. I LOVE John Force and wish he would've hit Tony Pedregon as hard as he can. Tony is always crying and complaining, but if he would have done better in the first place, he would have never been in that situation. There are 2 things I will say on this issue.
1 - NHRA Officials checked the tuning computer for John Force's Funny Car, and did not find anything suspicious at all and have no sufficient evidence that he threw the race.
2 - Even if he threw the race, I don't see how it is cheating? Is it any different than when somebody's team mate in NASCAR blocks an opponent? It's not like John Force slashed Tony's tires or something. John Force wants his team to win; I wouldn't even care if John Force intentionally refused to race in the first place. Is it ethical in many people's eyes? Maybe not. But I can not understand why it was such a big fuss. Would I be mad if I was Tony? Hell yeah I would. But one of the announcers were calling John Force a cheater and obvious that he threw the race on purpose. Tony should not hold anything against John because if it wasn't for him, he probably wouldn't be racing in the first place since John gave him his biggest break in a lifetime. Last thing I'll say is that Tony was complaining "Me and my brother Cruz are just the little people". Well he was once racing for the best racer in drag racing and I'm not sure if he quit or not (but I imagine he did to start his own team), but it is a gamble you take when you leave a team and try to start from scratch.

ya kooly i agree. i didnt get to see much of the race had to work. but ya tony is a whiner, my understanding is, that is part of the reason tony left force racing. john got sick of hearing it and kinda pushed tony out the door. i also think tony was a little sore after ashley handed him his ***. she nailed him on the light. i didnt see it but read cruz went over and shook john's hand. im just curious how castrol is gonna handle this. im sure whatever castrol does, it will be behind closed doors. i also heard warren johnson was bad mouthing nhra and the rules after he failed to qualify. its getting to be like nascar....
Well they can say John cheated all they want, but until they prove it he's fine. As for Tony, he's just pissed because Ashley kicked his *** fair and square, and Cruz blew the tires off against John so how can that be Johns fault, all I can say is GO FORCE
Unfortunately, that's my biggest fear lol. And Cruz did shake his hand, but RIGHT AFTER he shook John's hand, he immediately went back to his trailer and trashed John Force like Tony did, before Tony even raced. One of the truest and my favorite things John said was "People can talk all the crap they want over the internet or watching the TV, but I can't stand those people who don't have the ***** to say it to my face"
I was clapping my *** off.
I was clapping my *** off.
I missed all of this drama but I am curious why it is a big deal if John had thrown the race. Isn't that part of being on a team? Sounds like a good strategy, set the guy with the most points up to get to the finals.

it is def. good stratedy. but the fans get cheated out of what could have been a good race. if your a business man [which force is] then he has to do whats best for his sponsers, they sign his pay check. but for people like me who want to see hard core racing. well i guess i have to go to my local track.
I'm a huge John Force Racing Team fan (I got a few good autographs from Ashley Force, John Force who my dad met in a hotel, and Robert Hight who signed my Built Ford Tough T-shirt) and I do not feel ripped out of a race. I'm happy they won, and I've seen plenty of races, one race doesn't affect me negatively.
