Few years back I put 1" convex mirror on both mirrors my wife's 08 Sable, had problem with mirror motor which even today after replacement still screwed up, worked fine for awhile, passengers side never missed a beat. Anyway dealer said I voided my warranty so I contacted The owner of this big dealership I get a call back from the service manager telling me to bring it in. So yes they do look to screw you if they can. So what did I say, Been a Ford man my whole, but I will go across the street and buy a Silverado !!!

Yes they said I modified the mirror, that's when I mailed a letter with a picture to Mr. H. It's been a few years and the mirror does the same thing. So I would remove the catch can before I would take it to the dealer. I'm worried my defroster for the sliding window quit working and I had speakers, amps and a sub installed tied into the factory head. I can hear it now how it was modified.

Default Catch cans

These cans are on some of fords factory cars. I've seen mustang's with them. They are a pain to empty, but still do the same thing as a JLT

how does the can mount?
it looks like the can is just floating being supported by the hoses
