Default Jet performance tuner

I have a 98 F-150 with a 4.6 liter, 5 speed manual. We started burning wood, and I have been hauling trailers loaded with Firewood. Probably in the neighborhood of 5000-7000 lbs, on a regular basis. Although I have hepted up the suspension to handle these loads, the engine still needs some help. I am looking at the Jet Chip Power Programmer to help increase the power. Anybody have feedback on this product, could recommend any others, or just tell me that I am plum outta luck on getting more HP/Torque from the motor.

Thanks!

I would advise against getting the Jet. In the tuning world the Jet is like bringing a knife to a gun fight. Now be forewarned that people with manuals don't "feel" as big of gain from a tuner because you obviously can't change shift points like an automatic, but the hp/tq gains will be there. Look at the SCT Xcal3 from PHP or VMP tuning. If you want a little less expensive a switch on the fly from PHP http://www.powerhungryperformance.com/_phoenix.shtml
