iPhone4 Question
I finally got mine! FX4 Screw w/Ecoboost Ingot Silver w/ 5.5' bed and it looks sweet (will post some pics over the weekend). The only thing I am a bit pissed about is it didn't come with the 20" rims I wanted. This one is the closest the dealer could find with most of the options I want (about 300 miles away). It did come with the gate step and the trailer brake assist (options I don't need). The dealer ordered me one exactly like I want just in case this one doesn't cut the mustard, but it could take up to 10 weeks to arrive, but I have been assured it would have NAV. I like the 20"s, but the money I would save on them would pay for a Line-X job and a bit towards an F1 Tonneau, and I have been reading that the 18"s ride smoother than the 20"s (have no idea if there is any truth in this). So, I don't know what I am going to do, but I'll need to decide fast because I return to the dealer tomorrow to do the paperwork. This is the first p/u I have ever owned, so I am sure I will be on here with a ton with questions. All I can say is, "I can't wait to get a deer in the back this fall!"
Anyway, when I picked her up tonight, we didn't have time to stick around (wanted to get home ... been dodging tornadoes all day) to get the once over from the dealer. Heading back tomorrow afternoon, but wanted to get on with pairing my iPhone. Every time I hit the PHONE button, I get a window telling me something like no bluetooth devices found. I have read a few things about turning off music streaming in order to get the phone to work, but does this include pairing it?
I have also read that the 2011s are a little squirrely with the iPhone. Is this something a future update will fix? This is also my first vehicle with NAV.
Thanks for any advice.

A card in your glovebox should explain: the gist of it is you have to put a number that your radio will produce into your iPhone connection to the sync.
Lemme know if you can't find this card and I'll post the instructions off of mine!!
Congrats!

Most of the 20" owners complain about the Perelli's?(sp) developing flat spots overnight.
You have to initially 'pair' the phone to Sync by having one or the other search for the connection. It's covered in the owner's manual.
I'd type how, but I did mine 15 months ago and don't recall.
You should only have to pair your phone once, that's all.
Hit the 'media' button and say 'Phone'. If there isn't a connection, Sync will say, "No phone is available now, I will try to connect one".
Then it connects via bluetooth.
I use a BB and some members have trouble with any Apple devices.
After you use the 'manly step' a couple of times, you'll grow to like it. (I did)
If not, I'm sure there are several members that would like to have your's.

I got the phone nailed down (thanks for the advice everyone), but now I have found out that it appears the only way to save tunes to the jukebox it from a CD. I am hoping I can upload music from a flashdrive, but just haven't figured it out yet.
I have an Iphone 4 that I have paired with my 2010 XLT. I've taken it up to the dealership since I can't use the call voice command with it, but I can use the voice commands when its music related. Another drawback for the Iphone is it will not read your text messages to you. The dealership said that the phone is too complicated for Sync and won't work until Ford updates Sync to a 'smarter' version.
As for playing music you can set up your phone as the primary phone and it will play the tunes off your phone through bluetooth, or you can use a usb cable and play it through there.
To get to the bluetooth audio select aux> select source> Bluetooth Media Stream
