Typically...insurance companies with make you get an estimate on the cost of fixing it to original condition. You can then request the check be cut to you to fix it on your own. Did you get the deer?

Ron White once said the one way to always guarantee a kill when hunting was to slow the bullet down to 55 mph and put a horn and headlights on it. The deer will actually jump in front of the it...
At last count I've hit 5 deer with my F150. A friend is at 20 with his Duramax.

Did you get one with a bullet? If so then you went over your limet [Hope the game warden dont catch you] and if you didnt I geuse you still had a succesful hunt. the insurance shouldent be a problem get estamates or the adjuster will estamate but if push comes to shove you dont have to accept there estmate if its lower than the shop of your choice Good luck Bubbabud

That sucks. Last fall my friend was going hunting with his F-250 Harley Edition. 10 pointer jumped into his passenger doors and broke it's neck. Did a number on the truck too. Creased both doors.
