~$100 a month on 2011 Screw EB, and that's full everything, half million for damages, injuries, blah blah. American family. Kind of urks me cause it use to be about $62 a month and has been slowly creeping up the last 3 years for no reason. I have no tickets!

That said, I will throw out some numbers. Collision = $224/year, Other than collision = $88/year, Replacement cost coverage = $47/year. These, plus all the other coverages total $58/month for my wife and myself, but it is a pretty meaningless comparison. This is through my local agent, underwritten by Cincinnati Insurance Co.
BTW, of more interest to me was the fact that this brand new ($43,000+) truck cost a grand total of $19/year more to insure than my wife's 3 year old Prius. Tells me this is considered a very safe vehicle to drive.

Full coverage through State Farm run's me close to $900 a year. Driving since 1962 with no chargable accident's and close to 64 year's old I guess pay's off! $250 deduct collision and $0 deduct comprehensive, towing, rental in there too.
Rule of thumb: if you think of insurance as a monthly expense, you're probably paying too much.
My deal: married, age 30-something, multi-vehicle discount, $1k deductible on collision and comprehensive, $500k liability limit. No extra stuff like roadside insurance, rental car, etc.
Grand total: $472/year to insure the truck through Progressive.com

See because of this thread I just checked into my insurance. I'm pretty maxed on all things, and my deductubles are $50/$250, I went to Progressive and state farm and plugged my same numbers in and the 6 month premium is about the same. I'm wondering if I should just lower my numbers, cause if I go a lower on coverages at progressive I can get to $331 for 6 months. How much coverage do you need?
I pay around $500 per 6 months for full coverage on my 95. I'm 20 and under my parents insurance, but I am listed as the primary driver of the truck. My 07 subaru outback costs $125 per six months as my father listed as the primary driver. With me listed as primary driver, it would be $660 per six months, age makes a huge difference lol
