Default Increasing the rumble!

A few months ago I decided to make the truck roar a bit so I put on a new muffler. I wanted to do the cheapest route possible at the time. My brother inlaw had a guy who does mufflers and they did all the labor for free. So I went to summit and picked up a magnaflow performance muffler and replaced my stock muffler. Got a nice crome slant cut tip welded on and she looks real good. The problem is I was hoping it was going to be louder. It sounds good when you fire it up and its a very clean deep rumble but i was hoping for a bit more. I maybe should have gone with the flowmaster but I went with the magnaflow mainly because I heard they are better on the highway as far as taming down when your doing highways speeds. Which i made a long trip to Texas recently and it was nice and mellow, which was good. But when Im around town I wanna have a little more noise what else can I do (cost effective) to make it a bit louder?

what year is your truck? the 87-96 f150 the o2 sensors are in the manifolds so its very simple to take them off, that will wake it up some, but where do live? state to state emissions test may not agree with the removal of cats, im assuming ur from ohio? since your "went" to summit, i live in ohio about 40 mins east of summit, and there are no state inspections so you don't have to worry about it

Also I would like to keep the set up I have with the Magnaflow i just wanted to see if there was anything I could add to it or change to make it louder. Maybe a K&N would even help?
