Default I'm a dummy

I'm headin into work yesterday morning, almost there, 'low fuel' comes up. Ah, no worries, I'll get some at lunch. Hop in at noon, run some errands, and bout to pull up to the office w/ my food, DOH, forgot gas. I'll stop right before I go home (50 miles). 7 comes around, and I'm beat after 13hrs, so I'm on autopilot... Soon as I hop on the tollroad, BEEEEEEP. DAMN IT MAN, I'll get some once I get off the toll (25 miles). Well, I figured I could go further than that. Made it all the way to my exit (single ramp onto a parkway), as I hit the gas to go up the ramp, truck starts to engine brake, OH CRAP, I'm on fumes and about to die... Sh|t, what to do what to do, so I toss it in Neutral, coast up the ramp, and start prayin that the turn signal goes green so I can roll into the gas station. Halfway down, BAM! Green light. Whew, home free... until all the other cars that turned got stopped at the next stop sign and blocked the entrance to the gas station by 3'. I had to stop. Truck is still running at this time. Car moves, I hit the gas.... DEAD. stupid son of a . I hop out, start pushin this 1.5ton paper weight up into it and get stuck just as I made it up the drive ramp. Luckily a guy walkin by (nice neighborhood) and 3 kids that just drove up for gas came to help me push it 50' to the pump.

28gallons of gas = $76
3 bottles of water = $4
2 Tall Boys Miller Lite = $3

Gettin help from strangers cuz your dumb *** couldnt fill up and didnt have a gas can= PRICELESS.

at least you got help. theres a few good people left in the world. 10 people stood and watched as i pushed my 86 ranger up hill into a gas station parking spot after the fuel pump died on me after i filled it up about 10 years ago now. glad it worked out for you though, ive never ran out of gas but my wife has a few times, shes lucky the pump hasnt burned up by now. lol

that sucks, but i think its a little more than a 1.5 ton paper weight, haha, i always use the quarter tank rule, when it hits 1/4 tank, i put gas in it, no matter what, now its just a habit
