Thanks Blackbetty...I'm already walking w/out any type of assitance (e.g. walker, wheelchair, crutches) for about 95% of the day, so I'm coming along alright. Usually by the end of the day tho, I'm pretty beat and in pain so I usually use my crutches. But besides that, I'm believing that I'm on my way to a fully recovery as you said!
It's a pleasure to know that I was able to impress the big man Mitch!
As far as eating goes, my entire fam is so used to this that when my nurses come to change my wound dressing, my fam will just be sitting there in the adjacent room, watching & eating pizza or pot pie or whatever as if they were enjoying the Food Network!
There you go SuperCC!!! Now that's what I'm talking about. Tell me that this doesn't make you want to go and mix up a nice aj joue (sp) sauce or A1 or whatever and slather it all over this and take a nice juicy bite. Yum, yummy, in my tum, tum, tummy!!! Yeah, it's a little rare, but you know that the meat continues to cook even after you remove it from the oven, so just keep that in mind so that all those nice little flavors and juices stay intact in your roast. Nothing worse than a dry piece of meat that takes 10 minutes to chew one piece!
P.S.
All of this was written at about 1:50 on the morning when I should have been to bed about 3 hrs ago, but I guess I'm trying to make up for lost time on the forum. Anyways, I have already taken my medicinal "bedtime cocktail" (HaHa, I said, "**** Tail!", man I've lost my mind!!) so I hope that what I have written makes sense and if not, then atleast you have some idea of what I was trying to get across. Love Ya All for your encouragement and pushing & motivating me and I can never truly relay my full appreciativeness (is that a word) in only one lifetime. God bless you all, and I look forward to talking more about my recovery, but more importantly, more about our rides in the very near future!!!
